- Coya, a native Peruvian girl, is deserted by her lover Watkins, a brutal English colonist who returns to his home country after plundering a gold fortune in Peru. When Dorian inherits his father's wealth and title, he revisits the land of his birth and meets a local girl named Bianca. The two are strongly attracted to each other, but Bianca is desired by the Inca chieftain Natcho. Furious at being repulsed, Natcho leads his tribesmen in an attack on the English visitors. In the ensuing battle, Violet and her father, who had followed Dorian to Peru, are mortally wounded. On his deathbed, Watkins confesses that he is Dorian's father. Thus freed of his mysterious attraction to his half-sister Violet, Dorian marries Blanca.

- Texas Reilly, the outlaw, does not hesitate to kill, but when the dying buzzard casts its shadow across his pathway, he is filled with fear. The chief of the rangers is hot upon his trail. Fearing capture, he sneaks upon the officer as he is riding by and shoots him. The wounded man succeeds in reaching his cabin, where he is aided by his old helper, who, after he makes him comfortable, goes to Mrs. Reilly for assistance. During his absence, the desperado makes up his mind that he must get his pursuer out of the way. He crawls over to his hut and places underneath it a large can of powder with a long fuse, which he ignites, makes his way back to his hideout, where he watches with fiendish delight for the expected explosion. With her little girl, Mrs. Reilly hastens to the wounded friend's aid. Her husband sees them enter the cabin and knows that the only thing in the world he loves is in that cabin about to be blown to eternity. Seized with a paroxysm of remorse and despair, he shoots himself dead. While his wife is tending to the suffering friend, her little girl steps outside the cabin and sees the smoking fuse. She tells her mother. She lifts the stricken man from his cot and leads him and her child to a small dugout, or cyclone cellar, and closes the doors after them; they barely escape the terrible explosion. Emerging from their hiding place, they behold the complete devastation before them and thank the good God for their deliverance.

The mask was based in the first Captain Kirk of Star Trek, William Shatner, who had to compete with Emmet Kelly clown mask. Movie team had to vote which one prefer. The rest... is fiction. Apparently, in "Misery", James Caan and Kathy Bates don't like each other very much, although in the end, when Bates picked up the Oscar for Best Actress, he apologized for what he had done to his ankles. Ryetash meets Key and her friends in the kitchen and joins them on one of their nightly raids. They retire to an empty bedroom and Rye listens to their hopes and dreams and thoughts about the Dragon.
- The hero of Ys is an adventurous young swordsman named Adol Christin. As the story begins, he has just arrived at the Town of Minea, in the land of Esteria. He is called upon by Sara, a fortune teller, who tells him of a great evil that is sweeping the land. Adol is informed that he must seek out the six Books of Ys. These books contain the history of the ancient land of Ys, and will give him the knowledge he needs to defeat the evil forces. Sara gives Adol a crystal for identification and instructs him to find her aunt in Zepik Village, who holds the key to retrieving one of the Books. With that, his quest begins.
